Sunday, 13 December 2026This is where everyone comes together.Sunday will be the main celebration party — relaxed, joyful, and designed so that friends and family from near and far can join us. Expect great food, great company, and some fun surprises we’re keeping under wraps for now. Staying With Us for the Full Experience 🌿 We’re planning to take over an entire rainforest retreat from Friday 11 December checking out on Monday 14 December, creating a shared, immersive wedding weekend rather than a single event. Accommodation includes:10 private studio homes (each sleeps two adults plus up to two children)1 larger house for extended family or groups If you’d like the easiest and most immersive option, we’re offering accommodation at a flat rate of $1,300 per home for the weekend, including breakfast. We’ve prepaid and secured the entire venue to make this simple for everyone. Pethers is located in the original village of Mount Tamborine. RSVP &amp; Planning Ahead 💌 To help us plan events, entertainment, surprises, and a few thoughtful gifts, we’d really appreciate your RSVP within the next week if possible. We completely understand travel, timing, and life commitments — this just helps us plan with care and intention. Our Wedding

The closest airports are Brisbane Airport (BNE) and Gold Coast Airport (OOL). Brisbane Airport is approximately 1.5 hours by car, and Gold Coast Airport is around 1 hour from Mount Tamborine. The easiest way to get to Tamborine Mountain from the airport is by car hire. Taxis and Uber are also available from both airports. If you’re not planning to rent a car, we recommend arranging transport in advance, as ride availability can be limited late at night. On-site at the venue (optional)We’re offering an optional $1,300 flat rate for all three nights, including breakfast. We’re prepaying and securing the entire venue for the weekend, so if you’d like to take this easy, all-inclusive option, simply select “Yes” on the RSVP, and we’ll be in touch closer to the date with everything you need to confirm your stay — no hassle, no logistics to worry about - will be on a first come first served basis. Staying elsewhereIf you prefer alternative accommodation, we recommend staying close to the house and between the weekend’s venues. Travel & On-Site Accommodation Option

Pethers Rainforest Retreat is normally an adults-only property located in Mount Tamborine and offers a restaurant, a bar and a garden. As we have booked the entire place, I understand children will be allowed. The property offers a paid airport shuttle service and has pretty nice rooms in an amazing setting with an incredible chef, hence why we booked the place.

Located in Mount Tamborine, within 8.3 km of Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk and 23 km of Warner Bros. Movie World, Hampton Estate Wines provides accommodation with barbecue facilities and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The property is set 24 km from Helensvale Train Station, 27 km from Dreamworld and 27 km from WhiteWater World. The property is non-smoking and is situated 24 km from Wet'n'Wild Water World. All units are equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a shower, free toiletries and a wardrobe. At the hotel each room includes a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, and a balcony with a garden view. At Hampton Estate Wines you will find a restaurant serving international cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. The accommodation offers a sun terrace. Metricon Stadium is 30 km from Hampton Estate Wines, while Harbour Town Gold Coast is 31 km away. Gold Coast Airport is 54 km from the property.

The Polish Place offers award-winning, self-contained chalets, set on the escarpment of Tamborine Mountain with 180 degree views facing towards The Great Dividing Range. The Polish Place is just 1 hour’s drive from Brisbane and 40 minutes’ drive from Surfers Paradise. Free on-site parking is provided.

Witches Falls Cottages offers intimate adults-only private accommodations nestled among flower gardens and native trees. Each bathroom has a glass roof, allowing guests to watch the stars from their double spa bath. All cottages feature heating, air conditioning, a cozy fireplace (seasonal) and polished wood floors. Guests will also find a kitchenette, DVD player, private veranda and barbecue with each cottage. The bathroom with double spa bath opens out to a private garden. Breakfast hampers are delivered to the cottages every morning. Free off-street car parking is provided. Surfers Paradise

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a famous Australian wildlife park where you can see kangaroos, koalas, wombats, crocodiles and native birdlife. It’s a fantastic opportunity for international visitors to experience Australian animals up close in a natural setting. Allow at least half a day for your visit. We recommend booking tickets in advance, especially during weekends and school holidays.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

Australia’s most famous theme park, featuring roller coasters, movie-themed rides and live shows. Ideal for thrill-seekers and families alike. Allow a full day to enjoy the park. We recommend purchasing tickets online in advance and arriving early during peak periods.

Warner Bros. Movie World

A mix of marine life experiences, rides and shows, located right on the Gold Coast waterfront. Sea World is more relaxed compared to other theme parks and is well suited for families and animal lovers.

Sea World

A local favourite known for its beautiful beach, headland walks and relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for swimming, surfing, picnics and sunset views. Burleigh also has excellent cafés and restaurants nearby.

Burleigh Heads

A vibrant area offering great restaurants, cafés, bars and shopping at Pacific Fair. Ideal for a long lunch, dinner or casual evening out. Popular with both locals and visitors.

Broadbeach (Dining & Shopping)

Tamborine Mountain is known for its boutique wineries and cellar doors, all set among rainforest and mountain views. Many wineries are within a short drive of each other, making it easy to explore at a relaxed pace. We recommend allowing a half day and booking tastings in advance where possible. Driving is the easiest way to get around.

Witches Falls is one of Mount Tamborine’s most popular rainforest walks, featuring shaded trails, native trees and peaceful creek views. The main loop walk is around 3 km and suitable for most fitness levels. Allow 1–1.5 hours to enjoy the walk at a relaxed pace. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and it’s best enjoyed in the cooler parts of the day.

Tamborine Mountain is home to several beautiful day spas offering massages, facials and wellness treatments. If you’re planning a spa visit, we recommend booking in advance, especially for weekends. A perfect way to relax before or after the wedding celebrations.

SOL Elements Bathhouse & Spa

Cedar Creek Falls is a scenic waterfall and swimming spot located on Mount Tamborine. The walk to the falls is relatively short and suitable for most fitness levels. After rain, the waterfall is especially impressive. On warmer days, guests can enjoy a refreshing swim at the base of the falls. Allow around 1–2 hours for the visit. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and swimming is weather dependent.

Cedar Creek Falls

An elevated walkway through beautiful rainforest canopy, perfect for a gentle walk and stunning photos. The walk is suitable for most fitness levels and takes around 45–60 minutes. Comfortable shoes are recommended. This is a great option if you want to experience Australian nature without a strenuous hike.

Gallery Walk is a charming strip of cafés, restaurants, gift shops and art galleries. It’s ideal for a relaxed morning or afternoon — grab a coffee, enjoy brunch, browse local art and souvenirs. No booking required. Parking is available nearby.
