Travel & On-Site Accommodation Option

The closest airports are Brisbane Airport (BNE) and Gold Coast Airport (OOL).

Brisbane Airport is approximately 1.5 hours by car, and Gold Coast Airport is around 1 hour from Mount Tamborine.

The easiest way to get to Tamborine Mountain from the airport is by car hire. Taxis and Uber are also available from both airports. If you’re not planning to rent a car, we recommend arranging transport in advance, as ride availability can be limited late at night.

We’re offering an optional $1,300 flat rate for all three nights, including breakfast.

We’re prepaying and securing the entire venue for the weekend, so if you’d like to take this easy, all-inclusive option, simply select “Yes” on the RSVP, and we’ll be in touch closer to the date with everything you need to confirm your stay — no hassle, no logistics to worry about - will be on a first come first served basis.

Pethers Rainforest Retreat is normally an adults-only property located in Mount Tamborine and offers a restaurant, a bar and a garden. As we have booked the entire place, I understand children will be allowed. The property offers a paid airport shuttle service and has pretty nice rooms in an amazing setting with an incredible chef, hence why we booked the place.
